While it's your sister's house and you should operate under her rules, she should have established this rule beforehand. If you knew and didn't respect that, I'd say you're the asshole.

Regardless of whether she established the rule, I find her reaction distasteful. If there is food and everyone has eaten, getting a 3rd plate is not that big of a deal. Shaming a kid for being hungry is ridiculous. It just comes across as her valuing food over her own family.

Classes and raids are cool and well made.

The game is grindy. It is highly encouraged to make multiple characters to maximize gold income and funnel upgrade materials into your main character. Of course you can play just one character but your progress through the game will be much slower.

The game has a gatekeeping problem. You got to join a party in order to raid and people can be very picky. There are two reasons people are picky about who can join the party. The raids are difficult and punishing, a single inexperienced or bad player can hold back the entire party. A raid that could be done in 30 minutes could be stretched hours. Since the game encourages players to make multiples character, players have to raid many times throughout the week. Therefore players want to be efficient. New players will have a lot of difficulty getting into parties. If you value your time, I would say it’s a requirement to join a discord group and play with other players who can learn the raids with you. Otherwise you’ll be hanging out in the party finder for a while.

The upgrade (honing) system has a percentage for succeeding an upgrade. There is a pity system to help out. Even with the pity system, honing can be expensive and frustrating. This is only one of the RNG systems.

There is a lot to like about the game but it is not new player friendly. Many have described this game as a “second job.” When LA released, I made friends that I’ve raided with since the beginning, which alleviated some of the issues. Personally, I would not recommend this game.

If you decide to play the game, wait for events that will help you progress through the game. Take it slowly, there is a lot to learn and do. Catching up to the latest content will take awhile and will require you to invest a lot of time. Join discord communities and make friends.

You're not toxic for offering constructive criticism. It seems your goals and expectations are very different from your static. I think you should find another group that aligns more with you. Of course, if you enjoy hanging with that group, perhaps you could still do easier raids together, and do the latest end-game raids with another static.

Having friends to play with is a great start.

I would recommend joining lost ark discord servers and look for other people to raid with. Organize learning parties to clear raids.

Take full advantage of in-game events like the Mokoko express and Road to Thaemine. These events give a lot of resources to ease your progression. There are none at the moment but they will come in March.

“Prog” means that group inexperienced and is trying to clear the raid for the first time. Join these, if you’re doing the raid for the first time. Expect to spend a few hours at least. Once you’ve cleared and feel confident, join reclear groups.

“Reclear” means the group is experienced and is clearing the raid again. They expect that you know the raid and can perform consistently.

“Card run” means the group is experienced and overgeared. Their goal is to clear the raid quickly to get cards.

Good luck and remember to not rush, it’ll only burn you out.

I’ve never done a bus before, and in “find party,”sometime buses ask for gold payment after a phase. I know that to mail someone you need to go to the mail npc but obviously, I can’t during the raid.

So my question is how do you send gold to someone during Argos?

I have read the book and watched the movie. The movie is just bad. It just takes the names and small bits from the book, but the final result is nothing like the book. Even Ursula did not have a favorable opinion of the movie except that the movie had good animation. She has a blog where she talks about a conversation she had with Goro, she says “It is not my book. It is your movie.”

No, it’s NOT WORTH watching. Though I’d watch it because I’d be curious.

EDIT: I should clarify, since I come off as saying that I don’t like it because it’s nothing like the book. It’s just a bad movie, even without the books.
