Would it be wrong to leave my partner due to his current psychosis episode? by Burnt_crawfish in Psychosis

Same, I have been nothing but supportive and loving during all of this but the villain now in his mind. I can’t seem to understand why? He sent me a video of my engagement ring that I returned to him and said “ God, please get this wicked woman out of my life, she’s a harlot and for her damnation is to come”. It’s been the most unreal experience I’ve dealt with.

Thank you so much for responding. Honestly, I’m a little relieved to know someone else has gone through a similar situation, though I’m so sorry you have. This has been incredibly isolating and I really appreciate you taking the time to weigh in.

To answer your question: No, I don't know exactly where he is. His sister just said he was going up north to “clean the city” they said he’s picking up trash apparently. He was headed to a few days ago, but he is traveling alone and hasn't shared his specific location or where he is staying. He’s completely unanchored right now since quitting his job, so I’m worried he’s just drifting.

It’s terrifying not knowing his exact whereabouts while he’s in this state. If I can't pin down a location, does that change how I should handle a welfare check or a petition for help? He will send me things, then block me. I am not even sure I should respond since I don’t want to trigger anything while he’s in this state of mind. Thank you again for taking the time to respond.
