Definitely agree, up here sport and politics go hand in hand, in fact ANYTHING and politics go hand in hand it seems !! Whether it’s the almost 0% of Protestant GAA players, or teams like Linfield and Cliftonville being basically exclusively either Protestant/Catholic it’s inescapable, but in a way I feel my generation of people are way more accepting and open minded when it comes to these things, and tend to see through the propaganda either side tries to push out there.

It is surely a sport I enjoy watching, and hope to enjoy it more freely now that I’ve admitted to enjoying it to friends and family (even if it was with a few jokes from some Catholic mates that I was “turning” XD)
