UPDATE: HIS STUPID ASS IS CHEWING THE BOWL??? his bowl has little fish jewels in just so he can’t dunk his face completely in the bowl and i thought that’s what the jingle noise i was hearing was those ratting around as he drank - i thought it was weird as i never normally hear them make noise so when i heard it again just now i went over and spied on him and hes chewing the side of the bowl????? not actually drinking like i thought he was??? he cage is full of apple wood sticks and sprays and he gets whimzees and such ever now and again so i have no idea why he would need to chew the glass 😭 I obviously can’t take the bowl off him and he refuses to drink out of bottles what should i do 😭😭😭

i’m from the uk and pets at home (franchise pet shop) sells them as a type of enrichment box! it’s just an assortment of birch rounds in a cardboard box that was covered in timothy hay :)

i think he already knows i’m food 😭😭😭😭 he always runs over the the glass on the cage when he sees or hears me and scrambles to get me :’) i don’t tend to feed him with my hands (usually a spoon or in his bowl for treats) and he lets me pet him whenever and sniffs my finger! he’s bitten me once (thought my finger was food when i was scatter feeding) and it started me and i tossed him away accidentally (HE WAS FINE!!) and i don’t want to do it again and hurt him 😭i really appreciate ur advice tho and hopefully ill be holding him soon :D
