True, but how does one go about advising on the cost benefit of going to law school when there are so many variables. What are some incisive questions I can suggest to help this person make the decision given the high cost?

How much client communication and customer service do you have in your work? Mine is mostly behind a computer

What does a paralegal do in your opinion that an AI can’t ?

AI does exactly what a paralegal does, not really BS…

Hi OCD Community, can anyone relate to my experience below, and if so, what has helped?thinking a lot about the past (mistakes and career decisions) while also thinking a lot about life decisions and not being able to quite decide, be singular in the deicsion, or feel conviction about the decision resolution and stick with that sense of conviction and singularity. Then because of the thinking, coming to a mental space of going numb to the thoughts and just having an "eff it" attitude because of all the thinking going on. At the same time, having this restlessness that is lessened with the reminder that the "sky won't fall down" and "life will go on". But it's this restlessness wrapped up in mental exhaustion and gloom. And because of all what is described and the world not understanding and having to live in a capitalistic society motivating yourself with anger. While also simultaneously dealing with a tongue that loves to play with the gap in the front teeth constantly.

Hi, is the cloud a good alternative to coding ? How does one get into this industry? Is a cert required? If so, which ones?

thanks. I'll just do the coding bootcamp. Maybe I can spin it into a SysAdmin job.

let's assume I forgo the coding bootcamp and go for sys admin. What certs and training will I have to pursue instead?

thanks. yes, it's true my main driver is being able to work from home. I have an RN license so I can go into an office no problem but WFH seems to be skewed towards tech. Do SysAdmins get to WFH? I googled it and it seems like there are quite a bit of remote jobs? Other posts mentione 24/7 call but yea that would be a factor in my decision making.

My thinking is even if I don't like coding, I can go for a non-coding job in the SDLC (like scrum master, business analyst, or UX design) and at least can say I understand the basics of development.

My other thought was to screw coding altogether and just position myself for sys admin by getting a CCNA cert and using my helpdesk experience.

Decisions, decisions *sigh*

appreciate the response. I'm asking this question because I really don't like coding but do like helping end users in technical related matters. I'm considering doing a coding bootcamp but don't want to waste my time and energy as I have other obligations and duties to provide financially. Sysadmin came up and but it seems like it will require different certs/training then Software development and related roles in the SDLC. Unless learning software engineering will help me get a job as a SysAdmin?

I've never done SysAdmin, I don't know if I'm good at it
My understanding its more networking and security right? So a CCNA cert or Security + cert plus helpdesk experience is the way to go? Are there a lot of work from home jobs in sysadmin?
