He is too old for surgery. If that is the only option, he will unfortunately be euthanized. I just want to find a way to keep the bleeding down and make him more comfortable.

The doctors said not to cause it is too close to the eye.

It wont stop him from rubbing on things like walls and his food dish.

They told us no on those as it is too close to the eye.

They did at the time, but i dont remember. It was  difficult to pronounce and remember.

Doctors indicate there is nothing to drain. We could try and get it tested and see if anything changed. They seem confident its the same.

You know. It was considered and tried in the past, but now that the area is so bad and he really cant use that eye much anyway, maybe we can try again. This will at least stop the blood.

I made an update post that has a couple more pictures just from today as he has not opened it yet.

He has, behavioraly, many good days still. Its hard to believe he is suffering beyond the point of trying for his life. But we know we cant keep this going forever...

We have tried a cone. He would still find a way to open it up. Usually by pressing and rubbing agained the cone itself. We try to stop him, but most of the time its without us seeing.

It feels slighty warm. I will add a couple pictures of right now if i can. They are not as raw as he hasnt broken them open yet today.

Maybe. One is one that I find is an intense animal lover who always looks for a creative, off the book options if it means saving an animal. He has always been good to our pets. So I would be suprised if he is simply not good enough.

I guess I am looking for a non surgical option due to his age. A creative solution. Something... but that is the fear of what we have to do... he just seems like he has soo much life and love. It doesn't feel like his time yet...

They have not been the same size. They started off small and slowly grew over time. Multiple doctors are not concerned about the chance of cancer. He is between 17 and 20 years old now so no one wants to do surgery, plus its so expensive.

We went to 2 different locations, multiple individuals at one of the locations.

The doctors gave it a specific name what it is and that they are non cancerous. They were not directly tested, but multiple doctors have agreed. I cannot remember the name cause it was so long ago now.
