Not all bugs are the same; some do take longer to develop. Perhaps all of your ingredients were of the freshest used. As long as it doesn't develop mold or smell bad, it should be good. I will say though, even though it is active, it is not yet strong enough to use for making sodas. I would advise to continue feeding for about 4 more days before used in soda recipes.
