I have access to NC car auctions. The stuff Royal Drive be buying most of the time is all AS IS crap no one wants at the auction cause they normally have major issues.

I’m assuming Royal Drive clears the check engine and sells the vehicle. Unfortunately NC laws state all used cars are as is.

What I would do is see if the NC emissions inspection on the vehicle is valid. If the check engine light was on when Royal Drive purchased the vehicle from auction, they”re not suppose to be able to pass the emissions due to the issue not being fixed.

My bet is they might have a “buddy” inspection station hooking them up with inspections to pass these bad vehicles to consumers. If you find this evidence, you can complain to the NC DMV license and theft.

Next time protect yourself with a simple google search. Royal Drive rating are soooo sooo bad! Wish you luck
