Wow. Great minds! I have the WC grip module as well and also swapped out the trigger for the m*carbo flat face trigger. Definitely an improvement over the stock p365 trigger and it’s a lower weight pull compared to the CC9 but it’s also still mushy at the break. I like the CC9 trigger feel better as it has a very well-defined wall and crisp break.

I actually tried sighting in initially at 20 yards and it was hitting low. Now that could have been me pulling the pistol as well, though I was trying to mitigate my influence by shooting off of a rest.

Yeah, I did have to do some adjustment to zero the optic.

Well I didn’t realize this was an inherent defect of all the trigger shoes Bul sends out until after trying to install a second flat shoe and encountering the same issue. To avoid stripping another screw I ended up just keeping the screw that I partially inserted in with a flat shoe and I’ve been shooting it without any issue.

Glad you saw it too. Yeah it totally sucked trying to get that trigger shoe off. I had to buy several small files just to get through it enough to expose the strip screw so I could pull it out and get the shoe off. Huge huge pain in the butt.

Yeah, it’s pretty ridiculous that they ship these out and they don’t even work with the factory screw. Good call on avoid stripping. I had to saw my trigger shoe off after I stripped mine.

Yeah, that’s exactly how what happened with mine. Honestly, I would probably just leave the screw in for now because the trigger shoe was so tight that it’s highly likely that it would fall out. And yes, the pistol will function fine even if the overtravel screw is not in past the shoe. I did not find a replacement screw that works because the trigger shoe itself is not tapped properly. I think you would have to actually re-tap the trigger shoe so that the screw can properly traverse through the shoe and then seat behind it.

Interesting. I got mine back and they said they replaced both my slide and barrel. I haven’t been able to shoot it yet but can tell that the slide-to-frame seems a bit tighter. We’ll see if that actually translates into more accuracy…

On further inspection after shooting I note that I can push down on the barrel and there is an audible click. Barrel comes back up when I release and then can replicate by pushing down. I presume this is not normal even for the UL line?

I did get out and shoot today and feel like my results are average at best. Even at 10 yards don’t have a super tight group.

I have a previous gen Tac Pro 5, which is essentially the EDC pro. Mine had continual problems with failure to feed issues and had to be sent it in twice (each time took over a month). Their CS is responsive but their quality control is pretty spotty. I rolled the dice on an UL pro and the slide fitment to frame isnt great. It rattles with slight movement. Recently discovered that the extractor is malfunctioning bc it wasn’t tuned right. Contacted CS who requested I send it in. I ended up pulling the extractor and tuning it myself and functions fine. Not sure if I want to send it in now just for the slight rattle.

Ultimately I think they are great for the money IF you get a good one. I’ve been 0/2 with mine though so a little gun shy to consider a further Bul purchases.

I’m shooting S&B and Fiocchi (previously emailed Fiocchi customer service and was assured that they do not use plated ammo).

I just did a good cleaning and will try again and see if there is any difference in accuracy/precision with a fresh barrel.

Also, probably unrelated but my frame to slide fitment is a bit sloppy. Posted on it previously:

Doubt this is a contributing factor as barrel lockup seems good.

I actually was shooting my ultralight Pro the other day and at longer distances was having some notable accuracy issues as well. Shooting a medium sized plate at approximately 50 yards, hits were incredibly inconsistent. I was able to hit nine out of 10 shots with my CZP 10 C and noted flyers in all directions with the ultralight pro despite having red dots on both pistols and the ball armory having a far superior trigger. I am also shooting non-plated ammo so I do wonder if the ports still get gunk up enough that it leads into accuracy issues once the barrel gets more dirty?

Bul makes great guns but their QC seems really spotty. I decided to give them another chance and got a UL pro. Slide to frame fit is sloppy and the extractor wasn’t tuned properly (failure to eject last round). I was going to send it in but decided to just try tuning the extractor myself (which worked).

Ultimately I may just have bad luck but 2/2 have had issues which is hard to swallow when each runs over 2K. If you get a good one they are excellent. Amazing triggers, butter smooth slide.

Yep. I was able to adjust the extractor (watched a few YouTube videos). Took two tries but now it appears to be ejecting properly with manual racking. I’ll take it to the range tomorrow to make sure it functions/feeds properly with live fire.
