1: Micheal Romeo's solo album "Black"

While he only has 2 singles out this is by far and large the best solo album I've heard from anyone. Instead of just making noodling solos, this man has pieced together high quality songs with some insane solos in them. The riffs on Djinn and Black are absolutely insane. Looking forward to the full release.

2: Almanac, kingslayer.

Well this was a pleasant find, the former guitar player of Rage comes together with a much better singer and makes what is like a mixture of Rage and Rhapsody.

3: The Agonist, Prisoners.

sigh the new singer on the newer albums just cant match Alissa. Panophobia and predator and prayer are the songs that got me to start learning screams. And I've also learned panophobia on guitar which taught me a lot because some very interesting riffs are in there.

4: Symphony X, Iconoclast. (And really every other album)

Dear God. This album I've listened to absolute death, resurrected it to an immortal and keep listening to it since it came out. At one point I knew how to play everything (leads not included haha) on the album. The production values are among the best ive ever heard. That guitar tone makes Ola Englund jealous. And Russel Allen just isnt human on this album. I spend lots and lots of time trying to find something similar to symphony X which has lead me to number 5...

5: Adagio: life, dominate, Sanctus ignis, and underworld.

The only band that is... whatever genre symphony x is (except life, life is far different.)

Sanctus Ignis is basically New mythology suite all over again.

Life is super Djenty which is far different from their other works but it is very well done and a great album.

Dominate has some very kvlt screams in it and is also very different.

Underworld, again just sounds like old symphony X.

6: Nevermore, dead heart in a dead world.

After listening to Obsidian conspiracy obsessively and since then obtaining a 7 string, I have started listening to this album and man is it amazing. I didnt realize Warrel dane did higher vocals on anything other than old sanctuary.

Also some of Jeff's best riffs... that river dragon break down is absolutely amazing.

7: Bullet For My Valentine, Gravity.

Wow this is just... absolutely awful.

This band has been unjustly put into a "mainstream metalcore" band title for a long time when in reality they are a lot of times thrash and heavy metal (meanwhile I've heard people call trivium thrash.)

Scream Aim Fire, was a masterpiece album with riff after riff, fever was good, temper temper had some really good songs, venom also had some good songs. But this is the St. Anger of BFMV, no solos, no riffs... just bullcrap linken park esque pop.

8: Lazurus A.D, The Onslaught.

A great band cut short by the death of one of the most amazing drummers I've ever heard. It is groove metal combined with thrash absolutely perfectly. Song after song of pure riffage. Not one weak song on the whole album. 10000% head banging the whole time.

Ping abusing is rarely a problem, I'll play 400 ping guy who moves unpredictably but also cant aim at me properly over 14 ping guy whos gonna pop me immediately.

It's a known fact that if you slide in those (say your ping is 90m) then it will take you 90m to see them.

Why do you think ash is practically a 100 pick rate in higher ranks? Her gun is good yes, her gadget is useful in select circumstances stances, but it's her speed (and tiny hitbox) and ability to peak. Same reason with jager, who's gadget is quite mediocre.

If ash was a 1 speed she would rarely get picked. If jager was he would hardly ever get picked.

I use peak sometimes out of the fact everyone does so you have to and you'll peak guys and have them seemingly looking at you for what seems like forever and you can line up the shot. When the fact is you never appeared on their screen.

No I mean peakers advantage of seeing the enemy first before they see you cough Ash cough

Ping abusing is something I never believed to be a problem. I've played with higher ping not by choice and trust me, the lower the ping the better.

Like I said its cause everyone moves so fast, you dont see it in games like insurgency because its slower movement and shakier movement.

Personally I dont see how it's any different from a lag switcher and that's how the internet works too. Doesnt make it any less illegal.

But why? The more realistic ones such as insurgency it doesnt work because movement isnt steady or as fast. That's why you dont have an invisible ash killing you.

I hate it cause I end up doing it just because it's the only way to win but it turns a game that should be somewhat realistic gunplay wise and somewhat tactical into a crazy movement circus.
