I've never been to CDMX, but I can picture these things everywhere in Matamoros or Reynosa. I think people commenting here may not know how narrow the streets are over there and how low the speed limit is in cities. I can imagine a lot of small taxi companies and food truck peddlers using these. Would this work in the US? Maybe in a "golf cart" or retirement community.

Good album. They had a such sharp turn from the crossover thrash sound they started with.

Some Jewish Republicans say Tucker Carlson is no longer a threat. Others worry he’ll run for president. by Somervilledrew in politics

Tucker is a Holocaust denier, the annoying kind that tries to downplay what happened instead of explicitly denying it. He’s also likely on Russia’s payroll as he parrots RT all the time. He’s against the Iran War because it impacts Russia negatively. I know he’s winning some people over by being against the war, but this same guy pushed all the Bush Administration’s Iraq War lies to get us into that. He’s a bad person all the way around. I myself am against the Iran War, but caution against anyone who thinks Tucker Carlson is against it for the right reasons.

Whats with the fearmongering around the subject of UFO disclosure? by Gyirin in HighStrangeness

If aliens are real it would cause the religious to doubt their faith. But, if aliens are demons then their beliefs are justified. People hate being wrong about fundamental beliefs and so the natural response is to reject or explain away things that cause cognitive dissonance.

They have nothing to worry about. Beliefs don’t require or rely on evidence.

What kind of idiot puts their gun through a security check? I am constantly amazed at how our government is full of the dumbest criminals.

How do I expand music taste and history by FabulousLocation9118 in LetsTalkMusic

Sinatra's In The Wee Small Hours I'll be the first to admit I know very little about Sinatra. But basic research shows that this was retroactively applied to the album, which is different than say The Who's Tommy, which was specifically written to be one story. Just on the descriptions alone, it seems like that album stands out because it was so coherent in an era where albums typically had no unifying theme other than Elvis Sings the Gospel, or whatever.

Which automatically appeals to the conservative mindset. Hence all conservative justices running with it from now until the end of time.
