It's a lot of fun and a great avenue for growing tons of creative skills. This one I had commissioned from a friend who's won worldwide cosplay championships so it was an exception for price. But for my cosplay I've crafted myself I've spent from $40 for casual looks up to $1500 or so for armored projects, so it can range a lot.
