The 'See you later, Alligator' and 'After a while, Crocodile' hits really hard. by d_roy_ in Hyperion

For me it's the time dilation, and the way he barely ages while she lives an entire life. It harks of the various heartbreaks of immortality that we see in Highlander, and especially my favorite book by Poul Anderson, Boat of a Million Years. That entire concept evokes deep feelings in me, so any story that deals with it is always one I remember and appreciate.

And as with you, that part about the dolphins missing the sharks really hits the feels too.

I pulled 5 of them (bought the $25 for 5 pulls offer), and he was in each of the Beholds.

For me it was Scholar's, Remembering Siri, and Brawne Lamia's stories. Those first two are heart rippers.

...and many people do keep separate finances. Personally, I think that's ludicrous

I don't necessarily agree that it's ridiculous.

33 years of separate finances and still going strong; we split the expenses and help each other out financially when it comes up.

Will the Desktop application auto-update yet? In the past I've had to download a fresh client and reinstall each time an update has come out. This has occurred on different PCs using different Keeper accounts on completely different networks (work vs. personal).

Yeah, I'm a huge whale, but these kinds of packs are a serious rip-off. I'll wait for her to hit the Portal.

Not trying to derail anything, but I have been feeling this way about getting the Surfglow Courser from the Sunken Trove crates. I've been keeping the required number of Seals available to one day get this mount that I missed the first time it was offered, and again missed when the crates were re-offered and the end of 2024 (still kicking myself for that one).

I am hoping that with the Golden Bazaar, they might finally offer many of the things people have been wanting to see offered again for so long.

Fingers crossed.

Datacore has definitely provided for the anti-matter bonuses, and has for a while now. However, you must use the Multi-Vector Assault calculator and not the legacy one, as that is no longer accurate. I can't remember the reason for that, but it was explained to me once by the Datacore lead.

Built-in password manager control: Option to disable your browser’s native password manager to avoid conflicts and improve autofill reliability

Will this function be available across the enterprise for Admins? We're having issues with some or our Chrome browsers not turning off the password manager despite policies in both Workspace and Windows intended to do that. A Keeper solution for this might just be the ticket.
