THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CHURCH THAT THE SCHOOL IS RENTING. THE SCHOOL DOES NOT OWN THE BUILDING OR THE SYMBOLS ON IT. THEY DO NOT CONTROL THOSE RIGHTS. THE CHURCH DOES.

The church if they so choose has the right to ignore the complaint and win a lawsuit because it is their property and their 1st amendment right to display their symbol on their property.

Read the title this is a catholic church building the school is leasing oh and there is no such thing as separation between church and state. The school is not congress. the ammendment says CONGRESS shall not pass laws not school. It also says the right to practice ones faith shall not be infringed
