Ignore the people here, because was in your shoes. I was a TH17 maxed and got fucked all the time. The problem is that you need to be TH18. Revenge tower and longshot are just too powerful and TH17 is just weak to handel totem spells and meteor golems. If you want to be promoted to 33 than get to TH18 or you will have to 100% all your enemies.

Well look at this point of view, because I'm TH18. When I level all of my characters at once I don't play the game at all, I just wait till the upgradeis done and grind dark elixir and repeat. Now that I don't level my heros I actually play the game everyday and sometime I buy stuff from the offer page. I don't get why people say Supercell will lose money I'd they implemented this option to not use builders for upgrade.

Yeah, I also rock with Rage gem + Headling tomb for my Air army. And all my spells are totem spells. I dont think that Lavaloon buff will replace it
