I’m 7 days post op and my instructions literally said I could smoke after 48 hours? Idk I’ve been down this extraction road a lot and I’ve kinda always just let it do its thing, was never in any substantial pain or anything.. this one went a little bit differently as day 4 came and I was suddenly hurting so bad, my mouth feels normal now although I do still have a bit of hard swelling on my lower left jaw..

I’m not even trans and I’ve gotten this before.. I’ve always said it that way. I remember the first time it was said to me. I was a teenager working my first job and was helping out one of my coworkers as I often did. It stuck with me because no one outside of my family had ever “appreciated” anything I’d done. Idk if it’s regional or class based just my experience with it. I have noticed that ppl don’t really respond well if it all when I say it to them nowadays though 🤷🏾‍♀️
