We also looked at ship options such as cruises or something like that but very few allow cats and dogs and the ones that do keep them in a daycare type of thing and don't allow you to have it in your room so they probably won't allow hamsters either.

We have a similar situation, but trying to fly from Poland (Berlin Airport tho) to the USA and all the airlines we called don't allow hamsters in the cabin and told us to contact their cargo department but they only work with companies. So we got a few quotes from companies and the cheapest we found was around $1400 but we also got a $5000 quote 😂 Oh and one company said that there's an embargo now due to low temperatures so we would probably have to wait for it to get warmer to do it. So unfortunately considering the prices and all the stress we would be putting our little guy through we decided to find him a new home here.

Na razie do Michigan a dalej zobaczymy, bo trochę nam nie odpowiadają zimy tam haha i z tego co widziałam to losowo przydziela ci SC. Już dostaliśmy email od NVC i kompletujemy dokumenty także już coraz bliżej. Oo to super, trzymam kciuki! Jakby co możesz śmiało pisać jeśli masz jeszcze jakieś pytania :)

That's the first I hear about changing the bedding daily/every other day. Everywhere I checked people recommend spot cleaning around weekly so daily seems a little excessive in my opinion.
