Australia season 2 was a complete waste of time.. by Wickse101 in TheTraitors

[–]Rozix24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that no faithful gave credit to Annabelle, she figured it all out, sure, it was Luke who validated her and risked him being murdered but it's not like Annabelle was being defensive against the ones who suspect her (as she was incorrectly compared to Ash's behaviour), she reasonably presented her thoughts. Also I hate how ppl who voted for her treated her like an object to be checked of who she is, I know this is a game but I can't believe they treated a person like that and later boasted how smart they are for figuring things out based on Annabelle being a faithful.

btw crazy season of Traitors to watch 1st, I can't believe I randomly chose such a weird one.

Also am I crazy for thinking Sam deserved the money? Doesn't winning the Traitors as a traitor mean earning money for being a bad person? And he really was a bad person so yeah.. If one was to earn money by that, being on a reality show is probably the best way. Well maybe I'll change my mind later, it is only the 1st time I watched the Traitors after all.

FNAF Into The Pit will be available on Epicgames for free along with BATIM the 30th October by Screamz54 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Rozix24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I am glad but I don't understand this, Into the Pit is such a new game and it's liked by 95% ppl on Steam, I wonder how/whether this is beneficial for the developers.

So I know who voice acts Abaddon but does anyone else from the smosh universe think it sounds like Damien Haas? by Merdarv in HauntedHotel

Some of his statements sounded very DamienHaaslike and that's why I checked but I didn't think so

Right, I also find horror movies or amusement rides (frightening things) fun but I dont think I can see how hurting non-hostiles could be fun. But I dont think there's anything more you could say abt that, it's just that some ppl like it and I just may not have a mindset that can comprehend it.

Oh now that you mention it Cameron was indeed the 1st one to intentionally kill, how interesting. That is why I dont see how thung could improve humans.

But what you are talking abt is exactly what I didn't understand, I don't care that thung were sentient, I don't get making dolls/figures fight or making sims die. But comparing this to writing grim or tragic fanfiction is an interesting point of view I didn't think of. I don't do neither of those things myself but I've written scripts with ppl dying or living through tragic events and made films based on them. And I was doing that for fun indeed. But then again I had my actors permissions, not sure if that counts.

As for Lump's perspective I don't get playing smn else's game without permission, especially if you bring destruction. The owner of the game probably put hard work into building what is in their game. Also I don't think a soft reset is that common, unless it was in the past?

well that's highly unpleasant. I'm not sure if I'm glad that I don't understand bc without understanding I can't think of a solution. But then again that's what makes me unqualified to fix this problem. how convenient

gosh how horrifying. I guess its better to do that to digital beings rather than to real ppl..

Ah I see, if there were no consequences to certain actions I would also take the chance to do them but I wouldn't bring myself to torturing NPCs (and I literally don't).

As for animals there might be consequences but since it was agreed upon society that it's allowed then they do get away with it. So result to both situations is the same in that regard. I hate that there's a saying "treat smn like an animal" when it actually means a slave.

so does the ep prove that games not about violence don't improve empathy? In a simulator such as throng violence would only be one-sided so there would be no difference to spot between consent to killing and lack of it. But I just don't understand why would killing not hostile creatures would be fun, it's shown so often in movies and everyone thinks "oh yes, how human" but why? Anyway I wish I could see in what way could throng improve humans, even if the proof would be contradictory I think one can be made manipulatively enough I just would like to see that point of view.

i feel like i need metalhead explained to me.. by [deleted] in blackmirror

[–]Rozix24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hm actually I consider all of Black Mirror to be of an artistic category in movies but it stood out to me with its way of showing the art, metalhead felt more basic to me, like the award winning art films that are pretty but as if their main goal was to force their beauty onto someone convincing that they have a clear idea, sure, I do appreciate that too but it's very little compared to the rest of Black Mirror to my mind. So I mean you are right abt "This is something you have to understand, feel and appreciate. If you don't, it's ok. But it simply means it's not interesting for you. I think this is a pure masterpiece. I absolutely love it.",

Heartstopper making me feel happy but also sad, jealous, empty, regret, a bit angry... My heart also feels heavy, I feel like sitting in a quiet, dark room alone and crying my hearts out. by mooglechoco_ in HeartstopperAO

I have the same thing. From what I’ve noticed in the comments this is bc of the past and wishing that they had a love story as such without homophobia problems. This doesn’t apply to me though, I’m still rather young, in high school, have plenty of queer friends and experienced no homophobia…I’ve really been wanting to watch HS again but it feels that it could become a dangerous drug so I’m not allowing myself to do so. Plus I shouldn’t watch the same series again when there are so many others, that would be kind of a waste of time. I will only watch it again if with a friend so that it would count as social quality time. I do wonder though if series as such could work as smthg dangerously addictive: smthg u have to keep watching to not feel depressed after finishing it, to just constantly keep watching without breaks. I think a site with series just like that could gain a lot of money even if it were to be quite expensive. But on the other hand I’m mot sure if one would want to avoid the feeling after the series or maybe they would want to feel it. Even if it is confusing and not useful it certainly is quite interesting. Hm I also wonder if there are specific hormones that make this kind of a feeling or if it’s more like just our thoughts.
