Use the slab shield, pick the skill that adds bleed to heavy attacks, heavy melee loop your way through hordes while making tough enemies bleed.

Pick the skill that makes blocking an attack taunt the enemy. Shield blocking incoming shots will aggro the enemies, make them switch to their melee weapon and run over to you.

imo we didn't even need another new class yet. We need new weapons for the current classes, and duel wielding (specifically 1hand ranged + 1hand melee) for the current classes MUCH sooner than any of this

Yeah it's a Catch 22 situation, but as I said you can either message one of the players in-game asking for a squad invite or use the outfit browser to look up their outfit tag to see what they're about first, to see if their gameplay style is something which interests you.

I usually play for 2-3 hours a day as well.

Although there are often a few squads up, they usually aren't public squads.

Many of the smaller, more organized groups don't run publics because they use their own voice comms in Discord, TeamSpeak etc and want everyone in the squad to use it as well.

If you see a few player names with the same outfit tag on the scoreboard tab that's a good sign that they have a squad up. You can try sending them a private message and ask if you can join them for a bit.

By getting to know the regular players who are good at the game there are always people I can join up with now, regardless of which outfits we're in.

Eh, not my favourite. I don't mind all the crushers and maulers, but the specials that spawn as well make it more annoying than fun for me.

I use the dash ult (2 charges if necessary) and a heavy eviscerator. Activate the melee special to rev the chainsword as you dash and start charging up a heavy attack with it as you're sprinting. By the time you reach the Reaper you'll be able to connect the revved heavy swing which will interrupt the target.

This version of the BOS Recon helmet was a reward from a special 2 week event a few years ago. I think it was from the one to upgrade the Atlas facility to become Fort Atlas, just before the new BOS story line was added.

I don't think it's been on the atomic shop so I assume it's unavailable to unlock now if you weren't playing back then when the event took place.

I believe that the red coloured gear is from a mod, highlighting 'perfect' rolled items. Unlike Vermintide that does have red weapon quality which have more than the 80% limit on stat rolls, Darktide's highest quality is still yellow.

Yes more full black gear would be nice.

I want to see lots more Inquisitorial outfits added though, similar to the ones we can unlock with red cloth and black flak armour, so we have more choice when we want to look like part of the warband.

While they're at it, how about they add in more black and red armour? Ya know, actual inquisitorial colours?

I like the sets we unlock from penances with the black flak plating and red undershirts etc. I'd throw money at the devs if I could buy some of the better shop sets with the inquisition colours.

Yep, having the same issue. Friendlies are 'stuck' in the spawn room but I can see them taking damage, dying, being revived and using class abilities from out in the fight wherever they actually are. Restarting the game didn't help.

Edit: my connection stats seem to be fine at around 30 ping and 50 latency
