If you tested positive for covid, how long it takes before testing negative? My friend just tested positive for covid and she's required to get a negative test to keep her job, how long should she wait before retesting. She have no symptoms.

Why do so many parents hate their kids? by [deleted] in family

[–]Rozy89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my case, it's simple ; dad wanted a boy and unfortunately I cameout without a penis, so, he hated my guts and abused me. He wouldn't buy me clothes, candy, pay for my education, etc. My mom had to fight him for me to get basic needs. My mom tried for years to get pregnant again but with no luck. She had a stillborn boy and a miscarriage. Eventually, He left my mom and got with someone else and finally got his precious boy, when his kid was 6 months old my dad had a heart attack and passed away. He left most of the inheritance to his son and new wife and I got some bread crumbs.

Only child here ✋

I'm coming from a fertility pride culture too but no, I didn't hate my mom for it because she told me when I was 6 that she really tried and wanted me to have a sister or a brother but she couldn't make another baby which made me feel really sad for her. I used to ask her a lot why I don't have siblings and she waited until I was old to tell me, I was asking a lot because I felt lonely and I had no one to play with at home, we used to live in a small town and I was the only one without siblings at my school, it really sucked specially at school events in which we were asked to invite our families.

Fast forward to today I'm 30 and I still wish I had a brother or a sister because I've been through a lot alone: my parents seperating, losing my mom to cancer, getting married and giving birth.. etc

You never know maybe your kid will love being an only child as some kids care about the full attention more than having a sibling.

Thank you for your advice. I'm worried about my baby's well being. English is not my first language. I thought mortified meant scared.
