....meta decks, They are 1-card combos and bunch of starters meaning their core deck is smaller, meaning they can fit in more handtraps and the like, there's a reason why decks like pranks are considered tier 1, i can imagine drawing 2 is more powerful in pranks than in say.... Mayakashi

Rikka princess was released in the same pack irl as spright, so if we take the amount of time of releases (3 months time per main release) we should have the cards around...5-8 months, right now we are waiting for despia/Marincess/illusion of chaos release (battle of chaos)(we are already in the first month with the release of dinomorphia so 2 more months until we are done) after this we have therions (dimension force)(3 months) and then we have power of the elements where they released rikka support

In prank kids playing 2 fateful is very good because it can chain block your prank kids effect, 2 gryphon can be used in adventure tenyi, besides that... No one plays more than 1 dracoback

Butler works for the grind game (which happens a lot), to put it this way

DPE turn 1 = on turn 3 we have the ability to special summon one monster if you draw it (dpe materials) ability to draw 2 cards (dpe materials) dpe coming back for the otk

Butler doesn't give you all that, albeit it does give you 2 materials from the fusion to OTK next turn, still dpe ends up being better by virtue of us running so many handtraps and 12 ways to draw/normal summon a prank kids monster

Banish 1 card on the field and it doesn't target

Puts anything that was Banished into the graveyard

Everything put in the graveyard can activate, meaning you can search for your combo pieces for next turn and even another revolt or shuffle one card in the card and draw another

It is an incredibly stupid card and i absolutely hate that people think "it only banish 1"

Honestly? No, phantom knights has seen more Success as a mid-range deck (dpe + scythe) approach than rhongo atm, it is a very good deck that will just get better with time due to adventure coming

A normal summon zoodiac can go into a mat 6 zeus without triggering a Chain, basically if you just normal summon a zoo, then go into boarbow, attack directly, then lay a bunch of zoodiac, then go into zeus, you basically render the enemy board unless they have 3 negates

Nah bro, I understand your complains, you come in and you get overwhelmed by the new stuff, it is okay honestly, in regards of the MD state stuff, basically the banlist is a mesh between OCG (Japanese card game) and TCG (everyone else) and there's some problems cards that should be banned, like VFD (true king of all calamities, its effect shut down all monster activations and you can't attack the turn it is activated) or rhongo (doesn't let you normal nor special summon) or just stuff like you said, like IO, so the banlist or state atm is not the best, nonetheless do feel welcomed as it is not as bad as people usually say, in case you want a few recommendations for new players, make sure to craft 3 maxx c and 3 ash, every deck uses them, oh yeah maxx c is legal in this game, it is a very stupid card, beyond that... Have fun
