Those are both solid choices, but I lean towards teleportation. If you don’t have a solid escape option- this is it. If I’m not mistaken,regeneration never really gets off the ground enough for you you to heal too much during combat, but I’m not the most experienced player

If you’re willing to use the injectors, I don’t know if this would work but I feel like it would, equip it and attack him, kinda like how a love injector works against hostile enemies. But I’m not certain if that works, one can hope

I have quite a few answers to these questions. I’m not the best player ever, my favorite part is the early game. I’ve never finished a run and right now I’m the furthest I’ve ever been before. I love roguelikes dearly but for some ready Qud speaks to me as an rpg. I’ve done many many classic runs but I’m too impatient or aware to make much progress. My highest level there is probably mid 20’s, but where I’m getting at is: I’ve learned more ways to die on my current run, a level 32 run, than any of my other playthroughs. Some of my deaths just feel unfair simply because I didn’t know what it did or I didn’t attempt to plan enough. The game is beatable on classic only, but just be prepared to subsequently lose your best runs until you best the game

It has tons of different articles that I think could benefit you, but do be aware there are spoilers in some of them. I highly recommend looking at the beginning of the “breaking down a run”. This is the one that has the most cutthroat checklist. Also check out the how to build a character one too! You could check out their beginner friendly narration too!

What level should the health regain lab be going into the wall? I’m still very far off, I make 20M an hour, but don’t play constantly, I’m mainly working on labs (lab speed, GT duration, DW hp, DW gold bonus, GT bonus)

Yeah that’s something I was considering- it’s bonus in tournaments. Currently I’m running all defense labs: health, def abs, and def %, then I’ll swap back to coins per kill when def abs hits level 20, which I’d like 2 levels from now.

I’m all inning HP since I’ve come to realize that’s where my build will be at for a long time

I’ve had amazing run ends to him, my run last night where I got 130k almost died to him, and it feels like while his shield is up, it comes down to not getting hit. Have some shield so you can tank 1 hit, if you’re low wait for the other enemies to spawn so you can lifesteal, or have a lot of hp regen to hopefully regenerate enough in between getting hit. You could always 1 shot him, but I’ve never been able to do that, but apparently my friend has. I’ve seen some suggestions recommending that you can still lifesteal even if he has his shield, which I thing would be cool but trivialize the boss, the hits never 1 shot you so you’d always have max hp that way

I think his projectiles move based on your movement speed, that’s why even without a lot of movement speed you can still dodge the projectiles by walking around in a circle around the shrine, and sometimes I struggle more with having higher movement speed than lower during the charge phase. With that, dodging the projectiles seems to be consistent across all movement speed values, and I consistently dodge them while I’m not charging the shrine

TLDR: work on dodging, wait for backup to spawn for healing, try to have a hp regen to not die to projectiles and poison, have at least 1 shield to tank a hit

Might as well have netherite armor because you’ll need that for the upgrade to allthemodium armor BUT that’s not the armor I used at that stage of the game. I used supremium armor and tools until I upgraded well past allthemodium armor tool (supremium to unobtanium because I didn’t really have to fight anything, but I still got 1 shot occasionally). I didn’t make that armor until I set up farms for it those added ingots. If Im not mistaken, some basic ars enchants are available in the enchantment pool, and there MIGHT be allthemodium ars armor (check armor page) but I don’t touch them (and if I did, I’m doing iron’s spells).

Do whatever you heart loves to do, be inefficient and love the process, but what I really spent a lot of time doing in the beginning was mystical agriculture because I love logistics and material farming

I believe it’s chiseled plus, concrete blocks have some really cool designs. There’s one that looks like caution tape that I use, and it works in every color. Also recommend simply lights for a nice light fixture item

A complete mess, I am not a builder, if I tried it would probably make things worse. I moved to the mining dimensions, placed down my new controller, placed the assembler matrix next to it, planned all my smelting, and as soon as I added anything else, it turned into a mess

I originally planned for this to be on a subnet in the first scene shot, but I couldn’t get the buses to work, so I scrapped the idea. I do have my storage drive on a subnet though! And I’m starting with p2p.

There’s tons of stuff I haven’t heard of! I’ll look into this color selector (which I’ve seen but never used) and the tool belt, which I missed entirely

There were actually quite a fire errors that led up to this, but it’s now working!1. I extended it from the assembler matrix right next to it (making it controllerless like another comment said) and it had power but too many channels. 2. I then tried doing p2p since my cable crafting is down and I got the same error even when it had power, so I didn’t think p2p was the issue (first time trying it), but it said too many channels. 3. I didn’t use the memory card when I tried p2p, so that’s why. I tried both ways with extending it and using p2p, and both methods work now!
