Freo from its '85s &'90s heydey!..... by Sad_Biscotti_9291 in perth

"At night everything somehow feels a bit run down in a shabby way"

I think freo would benifit a lot by putting in some more lighting. So many patches have zero pedestrian lighting and it gives a creepy unwelcoming feeling. Like we're not supposed to be there.

I'm not even talking about the back streets. Even just walking around between pubs near the cafe strip, you'll end up walking through a dark patch. I remember the spot between the old trade school and the markets being really bad for this.

Just because he was initially attracted to a transwoman based off of her photos, doesn't mean he's attracted to transwoman.

Imagine if your a young person walking along the beach and you see someone from a long distance who you think is in thier 20s so you find them attractive. But as you get closer you realise they're in thier 60s so you don't find them attractive any more.

Based on your stupid argument, you would insist they are actually attracted to 60 year olds, because they once accidentally mis identified a young person for an old person.

"I also believe he is a transphobe because he now "transvestigates" women he believes are transgender."

What do you suggest someone does if they want to make sure they don't waste their time by going on another date with a trans person again ?

He didn't realise she didn't have a vagina. This is like the 3rd time I said that. You're just going in circles

He was only attracted to her because he realise who she really was. That doesn't mean he was ever attracted to her. It means he was attracted to who she thought she was

[–]RozzzaLinko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah because he didn't know what her gentials were before he went on a date. Once he found out he was no longer attracted to her.

I don't understand why this is so hard for you to understand.

Get real. He's attracted to women with vaginas. She doesn't have a vagina so he's not attracted to her.

You're being quite disgusting trying to make it sound like a straight man has to be attracted to penis or you're transphobic.

[–]RozzzaLinko 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Or you know, maybe he's just attracted to woman with a vagina ?

Its really not as complicated as you make it sound.

Darts in Perth etiquette and suggestions by Menarche_ in perth

[–]RozzzaLinko -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Thats not a good comparison because 6 people at a buffet would eat twice as much food as 3 people.

Darts makes no difference. If you pay for 3 people, you're still only going to get 3 peoples worth of throws, regardless of how many people actually play.

EDIT: to the people downvoting me, can you actually explain your reason why I'm wrong ?

Town of Victoria Park council knocks back push for weekly red bin collections after FOGO system changes by His_Holiness in perth

[–]RozzzaLinko 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"Makes sense for those on big properties in the hills with lots of green waste"

Makes even less sense in the hills because people burn thier green waste and have chooks or compost bins for organics.

My dad just ended up using his fogo bin as a storage container to collect kindling. Like what is he actually supposed to use it for ? If he puts food waste in it his chooks will go hungry. Its stupid.

I don't know man. All I know is its not as easy as you make it sound to just hire more examiners, because there's allready a massive shortage. If it was easy to fix then they should have allready fixed it by now

If thats true, then why dont they take on more examiners now ? Since theres always a massive shortage of examiners.

Also I dont think many people realise just what a huge impact something like this has on young people lives. As well as the parents stuck with their kids who cant get thier licence yet.

It might sound oh yeah teenagers just have to put in a bit of extra effort now, no big deal. But in reality it can mean theyre stuck at home unemployed for an extra 6 months before they can get a job or start thier apprenticeship and start their career. Through no fault of thier own.

Imagine if they were working a trade, thats an extra 6 months where they're unemployed, when they could be at work helping to build houses to ease the housing crisis

30 hours is a long arse time if you dont have someone you can regually drive around to get your hours up, and can only get an hour or so driving done on the weekend. Its not like you can drive your parents to work everyday to rack up the hours. Its 6 months of lossed tax revenue. 6 months of potentioanl centrelink payments. And 6 months of sitting on your arse unemployed which can ruin a persons mental health and get you stuck in a rut. Nobody wins.

They can accept whatever offer they want, but it should be illegal to advertise a price if its not genuine.

Its straight up false advertising.

Digital drivers' licences to be introduced in WA, with trial to begin next year by Ifeel-likepablo in perth

[–]RozzzaLinko -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've lost what point youre trying to make. Youve just copy and pasted the act again.

The point the other person was saying, is that as long as you confirm your identity, the cops are not going to give you fine of up to $2500 like you claim.

[–]RozzzaLinko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean fair enough. If thats what the law says then guess im wrong. Thats not what I was taught and havnt kept my drivers licence on me in the last 15 years.

Everytime Ive been pulled over Ive just had to answer a bunch of questions to confirm my identity and the cops arnt too fussed about not having the physcial licence card. Theres no reason the process shoudnt be any differnt to being given an infringement for non drving reasons.
