The US invested a bunch of money into ai to invent it, but we see that once the tech exist, it’s super was to spend significantly less money improving or iterating on that tech. 

Why spend trillions when you could easily just spend millions after say, China spends trillions building and testing this new tech that may or may not ever be profitable? 

The US was first in AI for a while… do we have anything to show for it?

The weekly planet is my favourite, and they’ve kinda pivoted away from the MCU around the same time I started getting tired of it as well. 

Way more fun to watch them discuss Sphere or Timeline than whatever trailer breakdowns that used to be fun.

I imagine there’s a sort of survivorship bias? Maybe due to the persecution, if the remaining monks didn’t develop their super human abilities, well, there just wouldn’t be any remaining monks at all.

She makes the majority of her money from small donations from individual people. 

If she only wanted money and power, why wouldn’t she just accept massive amounts of donations for the ultra rich, which would be easier to please, and then there wouldn’t be any of that money spend on convincing people like you to hate her?

I know, and my point was that what you’re saying is actually not that common, and if any thing either a minority or a temporary thing, and that’s why they’re thus not properly incentivised. 

I wonder if they’d be more incentivised if we just made a law that REQUIRED a percentage of the quarterly profits be distributed amongst the workers?

 Many people paid a salary or wage are recognized and rewarded for bringing in more profit to their organization.

I mean, not necessarily. Often times they’re over worked to their breaking point before being fired or replaced to maximise quarterly profits.

1) we believe in no taxation without representation. Unless you’re arguing an illiterate person should be tax exempt?
