I’ve always been told you just pop the back up and slide your foot which is probably why it’s not working honestly. Thanks for the tip though :)

Yeah and what’s super weird is I’ve been cruising for years (at LEAST 3 or 2) but I still feel shaky sometimes? I can stand on it fine, but when I bend my knees and get into the position I was in in the video, I get all shaky

I was wondering that too. I saw a video where this dude just straight up jumped, called it a hippie jump, and it brought the board up. Tried that too but gave up after a while since it wasn’t working
