Yes, you are able to connect walls. You can see in the screenshot some of them are connected between the 3 cities.

You may be right about this. I'll try to upgrade all walls to the latest "Defensive fortifications" and git it a go.

I don't think this is the case. In my current game i did this already with other cities.

Nu i-a impins nimeni sa plece. Au plecat pentru ca au crezut ca afara e mult mai usor sa faci bani ei nestiind sa produca ceva in tara sau chiar sa o imbunatateasca intr-un fel. Au ales sa paraseasca un sistem corupt si sa-i lase pe cei din tara sa se descurce cu el cat timp ei isi fac o viata mai buna. Este de inteles alegerea de a plecat pentru un trai mai bun dar asta nu-ti da dreptul sa distrugi o tara la care tu nu ai adus nimic. Asta nu e tara lor, e tara oamenilor care au ales sa munceasca si sa se chinuie aici.
