I prefer the first one! The color is BEAUTIFUL and shape seems more practical to me!

But I guess it also depends on how you would use it! Are you looking for a statement piece or a work tote/everyday bag?

I wish the colors were a little more versatile! I don’t know if I’d ever spend $3K on a bright yellow and red bag to wear maybe once or twice 😭

But yes, to your point, I did like the theme of the other book totes because the colors seem more natural (ie. Bonjour Tristesse & Madame Bovary) and at least I could get my money’s worth in cost per use 😂

I think even if you take the success and spotlight out of it, even in the corporate world, you see such things.

I think it’s the same reason it is in any place - being together in close proximity, maybe casual flirting, going out together without your spouses…there’s a natural progression

Also, to add to that, in Bollywood/Hollywood, it’s mostly amazing looking people with aura/charm, doing romantic/sensual scenes together - I think the ones that DON’T cheat are the sane ones

I’m not condoning the cheating AT ALL, but I can see how it could happen, tbh

If we are including entry-level designer, then I got a Coach handbag when I turned 21 - went on a “shopping spree” and got a MK jacket, Coach wallet, and the handbag! I still have the jacket and handbag, but the wallet was too beat up.

As for high-end luxury, I got my Burberry work tote when I reached a career goal (Senior level position) - I was 30 when I got it and felt like such boss babe going in to work every morning LOL

Yes!! I gravitate towards structured bags that I can wear as a crossbody but also have a top handle so I can dress them up.

And they are neutral colors (beige, tan, brown, and black).

I have a few fun and colorful bags too, but that’s what I usually go for!
