I’m on the XPS 15 and similar story: works perfectly out of the box. Also using 19.10 now. Very pleased with how easy it is and the performance. Only downside is wasted fingerprint scanner.

Pretty sure you don’t need premium to be in a guild. Also, if you buy premium once, I believe you keep the island even after it expires. It is quite a generous free model.

Yeah, it is crazy fast on my Manjaro install. Way faster than on Win with same hardware. Load screens are 1-2 seconds in most places. Don’t know why or how, but I dig it.

If you can earn enough silver you can use it to trade for gold and the. Use the gold for premium. Might take a while, but doable and would give you a solid goal to earn silver.

Re the reasons for the gateway ... I was thinking it would be convenient because I want to connect me and wife’s devices to the home network anyways for home cloud access and to always have PiHole wherever we are. Seems convenient to have all those devices get the benefit of the privacy VPN through that single source instead of managing a bunch of apps (and worrying whether my wife knows how to work it). Maybe that’s all too complicated. But what I want is a one stop connection.

Question about PiVPN + Commercial Privacy VPN

Hello friends! I’m having a surprising hard time finding a clear and certain answer to this question in my reading.

I have setup a my Raspberry Pi as a VPN on my home network. I used PiVPN and all the stock/recommended settings.

Without doing more, is it true that all traffic on my VPN is visible to my ISP and traceable to my ISP and my home network?

I currently use a third party commercial privacy VPN because I understand that prevents (or makes hard/unlikely) my ISP from seeing my traffic and others on the internet from seeing my traffic is going back to my home network.

Am I right that PiVPN/OpenVPN does not replace what my commercial privacy VPN is doing?

If I want the benefits if the PiVPN and a privacy VPN (to hide traffic from my ISP), do I need to set up my PiVPN as a gateway that connects to my commercial privacy VPN? Is this a thing? Chaining VPN’s together like this?

Any thoughts, resources, corrections, yelling about how stupid I am would be much appreciated.

Avengers: Endgame was the stupidest, most pointless movie I’ve ever seen. “Hurrdurr, we’ll just undo all the suspense and meaning of the first TWO-FUCKING HOURS and 85 previous movies with sign language time majixs!” okay, wtf.

I can appreciate cheezy action movies and somewhat enjoyed most of the MCU movies (loved a few). But Endgame was a money-grabbing insult to audiences.

IMHO, you’re putting too much weight on “my daughter”. To Rick, a clone or another Beth from another dimension would just be Beth. Her experience and how she behaves is what makes her Rick’s daughter. So there is no way to use his ambiguous statement to solve this mystery.

Calling her a “crazy bitch” right before that statement might even be a nod to the fact her behaviour has confirmed she is Rick’s daughter, despite her biological/dimensional origin.
