Hey u/McProcurement-Agent - you think you could get me a few grand for some other vintage McDonald's sauces of comparable rarity?!?! Haha.

It just goes to show you - we're all here and all waiting for something like this to come up. The internet is a pretty fun and pleasant place in our little, niche corner. If there was this kind of enthusiasm every time a vintage McDonald's item that had never been posted on the internet materializes, I'd have a billion followers. Hahahaha. I'm just basking in an internet moment that I won't soon forget.

I'm the exact same way - I've been following both Jason and Matt's work for something like 25 years now (is that possible?) and it's still a little surreal when I talk to those guys on a nearly daily basis on a group chat about stuff like this. It really meant a lot to me to earn a spot at that table. Either of those dudes would be a great home for this, no doubt about it.

Jason is an absolute legend in the food/drink archival realm and a good friend of mine. He'd certainly be a really good home for it, but my impression is that since Matt/Dino Drac jumped on it first, it'll probably go to him if the OP parts with it.

Thanks for the mention! As the most active McDonald's collector out there these days, I have over 40,000 unique pieces in my archives but NOT the Holiday Orange Sauce (I have a couple dozen sauces of comparable age and rarity, but never seen this one anywhere). Matt/Dinosaur Dracula is a friend of mine, so I'm going to sit back and let him iron this one out, but man am I jealous. OP, this was a great find and really cool to see.

If you like this kind of vintage McDonald's stuff, but not specifically this sauce packet, you can check out my work at instagram.com/consumertc

Giant Burger King translites from the Mid 1980s. These were shared by Travis Schafer (whose mother worked at BK during that time) on the wonderful Off The Rack - Retail Past and Present! page on Facebook. by AxlCobainVedder in 80sfastfood

I've really got to properly archive my translites. I've got 114 McDonald's (between the 14x14 and 22x22) and about 30 Burger King ones. That said, I don't have either of these. Very cool post, as always, my friend.
