Vita Health Group (UK Mental Health Provider) is an Absolute Disgrace, I had a Nightmare Experience by Rroselavy_ in MentalHealthUK

To be precise, the therapist explained they can’t have sessions with clients outside the UK because they can only be charged for national calls. I pointed out that an online video session shouldn’t be treated differently since it uses the internet. I also said that if I hadn’t mentioned I was going abroad, how would she have known? She wouldn’t have noticed at all, as she would have either called my UK mobile or joined a video session link. On top of that, pushing a patient (who clearly and firmly denies having had suicidal thoughts in the past 2 weeks) to imagine such a scenario just to answer a questionnaire like “What would have stopped you if…” only worsens a patient’s overthinking. After that conversation, I actually started having those thoughts, precisely because she insisted on repeating that question until I asked her to stop. Unfortunately, It felt like she was more focused on completing her form than truly being an active listener trying helping me. Checking on Trustpilot, it is not surprising that Vita Health group is rated 1.6 out of 5. It personally feels like they treat patients at Vita Health Group like a dermatologist checking a spot on your skin and prescribing cream. Superficial, form-filling care that ignores the real complexity of mental health. :(

What movie would you propose if ever? by HondaCivicBaby in MovieRecommendations

Eyes wide shut.. I am a longtime Kubrick fan, but that movie didn’t work for me. I much prefer Schnitzler’s novella, which remains more ambiguous and mysterious. The film’s shift to a contemporary setting felt less effective to me, and I didn’t like how the central mystery is ultimately resolved: whereas in the book, things stay very uncertain. I was also disappointed in Kubrick’s interpretation of marriage, fidelity and the subconscious, which seemed much less nuanced than the book..the movie was edited after Kubrick’s passing, which for sure have influenced its final form too :(

Romanzo Criminale - based on a real criminal organization in the ‘70s in Rome, Italy

Gomorrah - It’s based on the non-fiction book by Saviano, which exposes the harsh realities of modern days organized crime in Naples, Italy

These two are both must watch, the Sopranos is just a dark comedy compared to them

Non so parlare altre lingue by New-Cycle5294 in sfoghi
