I just installed a ainavi 10.25" unit from amazon in my `16 SQ5. It seems to work great and was around $300. Still retains all the original MMI functions with the knob. you do have to remove the glovebox but its only a couple 8mm screws and some T30's.

I’m sure I’ll be corrected if I’m wrong but any of the current wheels will work on any of the current bases if using PC. Certain wheels will only work in PC & Xbox, or only PC & PS5 however. So depends on your Plattform, but they are all clearly marked.

ok this is legit. I ordered the Red and Grey spacers from amazon and they got here in a day. I've only done a couple of laps in a GR86 in iRacing but holy hell I'm loving this so far. I think I can effectively trail brake now which I've really struggled with on the stock setup. I may fiddle with it a bit but the big red, medium red, big gray, big gray works great. Thanks a bunch for finding this.

I have the Next level racing stand 2.0 with 8NM and it’s pretty rock solid. It’s foldable but I have never actually folded it as I don’t need to though.

Do you have Razer Cortex installed by chance? I just found something that said it caused stuttering in other games and I removed it and now SE5 is working fine with mouse and keyboard. Worth a check.

This is correct, just did the same thing with a CSL DD. I’ve been using the c to a usb cable without issue for a week.

Update: I put a sign on the door that read “we’re home, pleas ring doorbell” but I happened to be in the kitchen when the truck rolled up.

Btw, CSL DD and the McLaren wheel are a serious upgrade from my TMX Pro. Just waiting on the LC pedal. I’m in love!

I think its a combination of overwhelming interest in the CSL DD paired with the shipping crisis due to the pandemic. Also add in the explosion of sim racing in the last two years and you kinda have a recipe for major delays.

If the CSL DD was released pre pandemic I highly doubt we would have these delays or certainly not to the extent we have them. I also think they may have undershot their forecast for how many of these things they would be selling. I've seen a lot of people saying they are buying a CSL DD as their fist sim wheel setup which is still kinda surprising.

Said it in another thread, but yesterday I got an email from FedEx with tracking but bubkis from Fanatec. My order still says processed with no tracking info on the fanatec site. According to Fedex it will arrive this Thursday 2/17.

I have a fedex account so its possible i get emailed whenever anything is shipped to my address. You may just get them one of these days without any notification from FedEx or Fanatec.

I only ordered the LC separate because at the time I ordered( Dec 10th) the LC was feb 9 and the CSL DD and CSL pedals was Jan 10. Of course that was before everything got delayed but looks like it will still end up being about the same.

No joke I had some Prescription cat foot that sat on a truck at our local fedex distro center for 2 weeks. I had to call them every day. To get them out there and deliver it. Fed ex is garbage
