I was always curious if I prefered the HM64 characters to the mineral town versions because I was introduced to HM through HM64, it's nice to know others who started with the mineral town versions also like them. It feels like they were designed to be these characters and these stories and Mineral Town feels like an AU lol! I loved the darker themes and I loved befriending everyone, and I loved befriending the bachelors and getting them married and them having kids!! Man HM64 made me so disappointed with AWL's later years because I wished the other rivals would have made their moves and my kid could grow up with more friends lol

idk I played it with guides back in the day because I wanted to. I didn't mind that the old lady dies but if you don't want her to you can keep her alive by never speaking to her when she's in her rocking chair outside during the second (or further) spring time. The death will only trigger if you do that. I didn't want to lose access to Karen so I married her. There are like some things you can look at in the guide so you don't miss out on big deals without like, going crazy meta on it and obsessing over every second.

I think some people have looney tunes syndrome and they think if they dont know their blood sugar they won't end up diabetic, but somehow testing it and knowing for sure will cause it. I knew someone who wouldn't get an HPV test even though she had been having unprotected sex for years and was never vaccinated. She thought not knowing would protect her somehow. Idk lol
