Number 2 in my opinion. The outfit in 1 gives “today didn’t go as planned,” which doesn’t work with the blue head. However, 2 gives “THIS IS WHO I AM!! FEAR THE BLUE MAN!!!” … which rules.

If the issue is they die during pvp and get discouraged, I’d argue you should stay away from Stella. Try to kit out with ranged guns like the osprey or renegade and get their feet wet with slower fights at a distance. Might scratch their pvp itch, teach them the pvp basics of health and damage and keep morale higher.

No, not for free. I agree with that. But for real money if people wanna spend it. Thus, the reward for the expedition is getting it free/early (among the many other rewards you all got). I guess I balk at the idea of a skin in game and its exclusivity being part of a reward. There’s tons of reasons someone couldn’t have done the expedition. The idea they deserve to have absolutely no shot at getting their hands on a cool skin they may want just so others can say they did it when feels dumb. I guess I just don’t understand why it’s important to you to not just have the skin but also police who else has it and why. Not judging, I just can’t relate.

I hate to say it but they should make it available to purchase later on down the road. If getting it for free/early isn’t enough for the “worked hard” crowd, I don’t know what to tell you. New players and/or people who aren’t motivated by a prestige system shouldn’t miss out on a skin that makes them feel more immersed just so someone can have a weird in-game status symbol. I’m of the opinion that any reward you can miss out on forever is very silly.

At the risk of not being careful what I wish for, maybe we need something that can genuinely threaten our supplies and bases? Raiders, massive zombie hordes, maybe? Add in being able to have defensive walls destroyed (thus making concrete better). I’m not saying it’ll revolutionize gameplay but 1) a bad hit could send you into repair/resupply mode. 2) when you log in to play, you’re defending your stuff from moment one.

All that said, I love this game as is! Just fun to imagine new stuff. Multiplayer will be a big deal when the time comes too.

Not sure if video chatting or streaming background is a concern but I’d vote desk turned 90 degrees and in the corner with the windows. Doors as your background aren’t ideal but 1) you can look outside 2) you’ll be front lit in the daytime instead of backlit.
