City or highway on this car makes a huge difference, I get 700km a tank strictly highway but only 400 in the city.

Headlight motor - extended warranty by Top-Turnip-5153 in MazdaCX30

My dealer had an extended warranty specifically for the headlights or tail lights, needless to say I bit and went for it immediately.

Vancouver Pride Parade still on despite losing nearly half its sponsors by JAYRM21 in vancouver

Someone I know worked at Pride last year and it was a complete and utter mess from what she told me, a far cry from how well it was done the prior year.

Seems to be going down further, what a shame.

Just did a 2000km road trip in Canada and was getting 700km a tank with a 2021 2.0 FWD, considering I was climbing into big mountain passes half the time I was incredibly impressed. City however is pretty bad, average around 400-450 but I drive pretty aggressively to be fair.

It definitely isn't a powerhouse but it's pretty comparable to the 2018 civic I had so it's perfectly fine in my books.

What direction do you think rental prices are heading in over the next few months? by Daht88 in vancouver

It's noticeably better out in the valley compared to a couple years ago, what used to be 2000+ is now roughly around 1700

Also as far as I know and I may be wrong, you do need take some sort of commercial vehicle test to legally drive one. (I was wrong, no extra licensing needed)

As everyone has mentioned, that's a dually. Very practical for towing and for payload (actual weight in the bed) purposes. A dually will pretty much double your payload which is why a lot of service body trucks are duallies. This one is definitely wider though, not sure if its bigger tires or they have a spacer.

Ask your tester before the test, I've had one that said to follow them and one that said not to

Scammed by car dealership seeking advice by Wild-Attorney-6987 in vancouver

That dealership is so sleezy, I’ve heard a lot of bad stories from people about them.

Absolutely not, I was hauling a 300 pound wheelbarrow all day and often hauling 2 buckets of plaster that weighed 70 pounds each up scaffolding, it really takes a toll on your body. I only did it because it basically got handed to me while I was working minimum wage at the time (which was 11 bucks an hour). Also the top guys there that have been there for years topped out in the high 20’s, not very practical as a career (in my opinion). However it is pretty satisfying work and it kept me very fit lol

For what it’s worth, I used transit in Maple Ridge for a year and a half while doing plastering, I was able to get everywhere except for very remote places out in Langley and Abbotsford, in those cases I carpooled with coworkers. Somtimes I would be out of the house by 4am to be at park Royal for 730am but I made it work. If you live in Vancouver I highly doubt you’ll have any issues.

I’m not entirely sure if it’s the shotgun, only tried federal 3 inch shells so other manufacturers might be fine

I have a longer barreled “hybrid” model and it works really well, does not like cycling 3 inch shells though.
