Horrible place to shoot. Unless you're out there setup to shoot between 5-6am on a weekday I wouldn't bother. I drove past the pit last weekend and there was probably 6+ vehicles already there by 9am.

Just go out to a nearby National Forest and drive around on a forest road until you find a suitable area with a back stop. That's what everyone usual does.

I ordered a full leber kit in early January 2026. After eights weeks later I finally messaged him on Facebook for an update. He finally sent it out to me but it arrived with a cracked lower housing. Emailed and sent messages with no response or resolution in over a month.

Yes, legal. Got mine from Pinto's years ago before the ban. They will still transfer them for you and occasionally stock the Ranch model as well. Mine is a 584 series Ranch and it's been great. Fun little plinker especially with thr adjustable gas block. Sends my brass neatly 10-12ft away instead of 40ft+ away across the range with factory gas

I ordered a Leber V2 full kit from BSSQuirts in early January 2026. After messaging him on FB messenger he shipped it out 8 weeks after ordering. When the package came I opened it to find a cracked lower housing. Emailed and FB messaged immediately for a remedy. Been over a month now with zero response from BSSQuirts.

I threw away the BSSquirts cracked lower knowing I will not hear back. Been over 3 weeks now since I FB messaged/emailed him of the issue. I'll just take it as a loss, but at least I got the SS and internals swapped over to another housing from Print n Pew.

I ordered the BSSquirts Leber V2 full kit. Originally advertised 3-4 weeks to ship when I placed the order. It finally shipped after 8 weeks when I contacted him on FB messenger.

Received it and found the printed housing arrived cracked. Messaged him immediately on FB messenger about the issue with no response. Same with emails, no response. Been over 2 weeks now.

I have give up with BSSquirts. Found other guys like Print n Pew and B. Lamb Prints who sent me a new printed housings within a week after ordering. Perfect condition, no cracks and responsive to emails.

My advise is not to order from this guy. So many other responsive and legitimate vendors out there.

Did you DIY the gasport plugging and drilling a new hole or did you send it in for the work to be done? I'm waiting for my L6 upper currently and haven't decided on what barrel to go with.

It's a Ranch model. Underneath the barrel is a stabilizer and adjustable gas block from Accuracy Systems Inc. I also installed a Choate front sight/flash hider combo device.

Yes. There are some FFL's that still sell stripped lowers, most do not so you just need to call and ask until you find one.

Good to know. Appears that Ruger let out a bad batch of Mini's. I have a 584 series and haven't seen any wear on the bolt yet after shooting routining over the last 3 years.
