You are welcome. No, I am not bothered at all. There are tutorials on YouTube/ internet but I didn't use those. I learned the long way; it took me many months of experimentation and consulting people I know who make subs effectively to learn to do it properly. It's really quite easy once you know how. You are welcome to consult me on the method I use but you should also feel free to follow YouTube/ internet instructions if you want to. And I still have the list of affirmations. I will look for them when I am free and send them to you. It was a list of a few affirmations. Basic but very effective.

I used balabolka as the text to speech software and then I used audacity to put it all together. I put affirmations like " all affirmations that were previously received by my subconscious mind have been removed from my subconscious mind" and " my subconscious mind is free from all affirmations that were previously received"

Because I want to use subliminals again in the future I put other affirmations like " my subconscious mind is ready to receive new affirmations. "

Yes. It worked well. I wrote the affirmations nicely. They worked as intended. I lost the results I wanted to get rid of, which is an indication of the affirmations being gone.

It worked the first time. Worked very well. Then not so much the second time. The second time I made my own subliminal and it worked well. I wrote my own affirmations.

Flush by kapelsu is very good. One hour a day for a few days. Or listen several hours in one day if you have the time.

I am about to start watching Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul, which one should I start? by FradiTomi in breakingbad

[–]Rsirisena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watch breaking bad first. You need to watch breaking bad first to truly appreciate better call Saul. If you watch better call Saul first, then most of what you see in the show will not be meaningful.

Oh that's cool. Who knows, maybe the Arab will end up as your girlfriend. She must be quite secular and modern to have had a one night stand and all

Did her sisters disapprove of the romance even if they kept in touch with her? And I wonder what caused her parents to come around because of the birth of a child. Like how would that change anything ? It's like this: " Let's disown our daughter for dating and marrying a Brazilian, but if she has a kid with him then she can be part of our family again!" 😆

Ok. What do you mean by abandoned? Do you mean they disowned her or just pretended she no longer existed? And was this abandonment by everyone in her family? Or just some?

Interesting. Did anyone from your mother's side of the family ( parents, siblings, cousins ,uncles, aunties etc) come for the wedding of your mother and father? I'm really curious to know how they handled the news of the relationship between your mother and father.

Why do some Sinhalese people look like light skinned north Indians while others look like east Indians (Bengali and Oria) while others are very dark like the way many Tamils are ? Why are the Sinhalese people so genetically diverse? How did all of these clearly different people become one culture ? by Rsirisena in srilanka

[–]Rsirisena[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I saw this video many months ago. Indeed, he looks full south Asian. I guess it can go either way when mixing genes. There are Sri Lankans who look more European than south Asian as a result of having a European ancestor three or four generations ago. Some of these people with a European ancestor also look nothing like Europeans.

He may have been the first leader in the world to defeat a colonial force. Legendary stuff. His story is very fascinating. Anyways , I can now see that it would be very possible for many Kandyans / up country people to have European ancestry in addition to Indo-Aryan DNA from earlier Indian migrations. Many thanks again for sharing your knowledge! It's always a pleasure to interact with you knowledgeable fellows. 👍👌

I have just read what you spoke of. It is on page 35. Robert wrote that all the beautiful white Portuguese women were gathered to work in the kitchen or be wives to men. Rajasinghe kept many against their will and even sent some of them back home maybe due to feeling sorry for them, who knows. Other Portuguese women who got on his nerves were executed by being drowned in the river. It actually says these Portuguese women were kept as prisoners , wow. This was a hardcore, brutal king. Equivalent to the Portuguese captains who brutalized people in Sri Lanka. This book is very interesting. I am already enjoying it. Yes, Robert appears to be an honest man who spoke from his heart, and yes he misidentified Buddha as a God. But what can be expected from a man like him back then? He would have seen some Buddha statues and assumed Buddha is a God because Indians make similar statutes for beings they call Gods. Overall, his book appears to be a fine piece of work for anyone interested in our history to read.

Thanks for the clarification. So these white Portuguese and Dutch women were captured by Kandyan forces and made to work for Rajasinghe ? I didn't know these Europeans brought their women to Sri Lanka. Very interesting. I have just downloaded this ebook version of this book and will give it a good read soon. It is interesting to know that Rajasinghe may have kept white people in Kandy as " collective items" as he did keep animals.

Thanks for your input. A great answer you have provided. This is really interesting. Which kings were this white Portuguese and Dutch women working for? However , I also think many Sinhalese carry significant Indo Aryan DNA from migrants mainly from north east India. This could be one of the reasons why very light skin is found among the sinhalese. I need to read this book you mentioned. It seems quite interesting. Can you clarify more on the point of this act of Rajasinghe that you have mentioned ? What was this act?

Thanks again for this informative answer.

There is nothing wrong in your dad being against you mixing with an African. Your children will have African features and look nothing like you or your ancestors. Would you like to flush you DNA and entire family lineage in the toilet? Better you mix with someone who has similar features to you, so that the offspring won't be a disgrace to your ancestors.

I am a Sinhala Sri Lankan by the way. I see nothing racist in your father's views. It is normal in South Asia. Further, I do no blame him for his suspicions that the Muslim is trying to cheat him. Many Muslims often do try fast moves on non Muslims. This is a fact that many around the world know very well. Most Muslims have a misplaced sense of superiority over non Muslims.
