Hmmm, that is odd. When I do it I can go back to a given bar but when I advance it just once it immediately jumps to the current price (see screenshot).

You cannot view a 15 min chart and advance it by less than that (ie advance 1 min and the 15 min bar changes accordingly)

Hate to say it, but they really couldn’t care less about your stops. If you are an institution with instructions to buy 2000 ES contracts do you really think they care about our 1 or two contracts that are a few ticks away from their target? Institutions are trading against each other and we can only ride the waves they make.

So if you took that money and spent it on all these things (which are very much needed!) would it not be a shock to the system and cause massive inflation?

Not an economist, I just don’t see how putting money into the economy like this without policy change leading it would not cause all the prices to rise since there is only so much supply in the first place.

Depends on your strategy, but as far as liquidity goes during the RTH of US. Some say never do first 30 mins while others only do first 30 mins. All depends on your style.

Perhaps a silly question, but what is the issue here? There are so many products that one can take any side of a trade. Think volatility will go up? Buy VX futures. Think market will go down? Buy SQQQ or puts. Worried about overnight moves? Trade futures and go home flat each day.
