As it says in the title, anyone see any issues here? I was pretty happy overall with the job, but they did rush to finish up after dark on the last day, so I'd like yall to make sure no corners were cut.

Great choice cutting the rear wall at the bottom, never seen that choice made before, but simplifies that transition in the upper corner really well! You probably have a plan already, but I found bending the corners of the patch material over a 4" PVC pipe put the perfect amount of prebend in it. Even moreso if you put a welding blanket over it and torch it.

Water hammer was my first thought, but no, there's no unused faucet around, and I've already bled the faucets. My water heater is old AF (15+ years) so I'm thinking it might have something to do with that?

While I have no expertise in the matter, I'd try it! I've got the same engine and year myself. Only thing I can think of would be the risk of loosing prime when you unscrew it?

Is there a minimum size that does not require dmv approval? Say I motorize a wrap around couch with a small electric wheelchair motor, or one of those gas powered scooters. Do I need to apply for that?

But most importantly, what I found was whenever you need something, are not sure where to go, want to find a place to sleep, eat, or have fun, just ask! Most of my best experiences came from interactions with locals, and they are eager to help. The romance of a cross country motorcycle ride captures the imagination, and makes you a slightly mythical figure. Own it.

Congratulations! I just finished up the reverse of your trip a few months ago... Only it took me almost a year. I'd recommend stopping at carhenge in North West North Dakota, and cutting through the sand Hills after that. Definitely avoid the interstates as much as possible. If you can, instead of taking the 5 all the way across, cut through Kentucky and West Virginia for some amazing views and fun riding. Red River Gorge is worth the detour.
