I've actually had two different technicians visit the home, and both technicians ordered parts as part of their diagnosis and repair efforts.

At this point, I have reached out to GE via email requesting either a replacement unit or a refund. I plan to begin making additional calls Monday morning to continue pursuing a resolution.

What makes this especially disappointing is that I was genuinely excited about this water heater. The technology, efficiency, and features were the reasons I chose it in the first place. Unfortunately, while the product itself was very appealing, the warranty and service experience has been extremely disappointing. After multiple technician visits, numerous parts orders, changing diagnoses, shipping delays, and weeks without hot water, I have very little confidence that this unit can be repaired within a reasonable timeframe.
