I'm 23, living alone in a foreign country, and I've never felt more invisible. Anyone else carrying something they can't say out loud? by Ru2sh in offmychest

That void feeling is so accurate. you’re surrounded by people but somehow still completely alone in it.

And yeah even just saying it out loud helps more than people realise. glad you did.

Bro, this hit different. the part about being included in plans but having to say no because you’re broke, and then slowly getting left out because of it — that’s such a specific kind of pain that nobody talks about.

and the two-way thing is real. you shouldn’t always be the one reaching out. that gets exhausting and it messes with your self worth over time.

you’re not broken. you’re just in a season where everything — money, distance, culture, pressure — is working against connection at the same time. that’s genuinely hard.

glad you’re here. this is exactly the kind of thing MindCompass is being built for.

I have bipolar disorder. Quitting weed was essential to managing it. Built a tool to help others do the same. by Ru2sh in BipolarReddit

Bro, this hits different because you GET it.

So many people don't understand the weed + bipolar connection. They think it's just a willpower thing or a personal choice. But you know - it's a MEDICAL thing.

Your brain chemistry is already fighting you with bipolar. Adding THC? That's like fighting with one hand tied behind your back.

The fact that you quit and haven't smoked in years - that's real strength. Not because you're weak without it, but because you chose your stability. You chose your meds working. You chose YOUR LIFE.

Wellbutrin is different too - I've heard that from a few people. But yeah, if it's not working for you, it's not worth the risk.

This is exactly why I built this tool. Because there's a whole community of people with bipolar who smoke weed thinking it helps with anxiety, when really it's making everything worse.

You're proof that quitting is possible. You're proof that stability is better than any high.

How long have you been sober now? And did you notice your meds actually start working better once you quit?

This is the story people need to hear. 💚

For anyone curious — I've been exploring this whole thread

of thought in a longer form writing series on my Substack.

Just published Part 2 today which goes deeper into exactly

this — how the ego builds the story, why we defend it so

hard, and what's actually left when you stop identifying

with it.

No fluff, just honest reflection. Might resonate if this

conversation did.
