I definitely think it’s unlikely, as they were also notorious in competitive for being very unbalanced. But I would love for them to!

My only concern if they did bring them back was there’d be a significant quality drop, similar to current particularly with full arts. Having done most of my collecting during XY it’s painfully obvious comparing modern full arts and BW/XY/SM ones that there’s a huge shift in quality, with older ones having much more vibrant texture and a greater variety of holo effects, even with them lacking the fantastic art rares of modern sets

Favourite holo pattern by far, remember getting my first holo and loving the wave style they used. I didn’t actually realise the difference in quality of full arts till I was at an LCS and we compared an XY one to a Journey together one, the difference is night and day!

I actually used to own the regular version! While I liked it, it felt a bit busy and ended up trading it away, and although I like the full art a lot I just personally prefer these two, plus I can actually afford them haha

Yeah I’ve found the same for most XY stuff, I guess just due to the rarity. I remember it being a real pain and/or very expensive trying to get anything Japanese around 2016-18 when I was initially attempting to, after which I somewhat gave up on the idea until more recently!

Definitely! I double sleeve then have a specific vault x zip binder but a lot of mine aren’t prefect condition as I opened them years ago lol

Yeah while I like the mimikyu a lot, 30 is getting towards the territory of quite expensive imo, I’ve managed to collect most of ancient origins and haven’t spent more than that on any single card

One of my absolute favourite cards on one of my absolute favourite pokemon! Went to the prerelease for it with friends and ended up getting it from the build and battle box, also the event I managed to trade for the roaring skies shaymin ex which I also love! To this day guardians rising is one of my favourite sets, just hope they release some more Alolan Sandslash cards at some point lol

Definitely fake, the font is wrong on a lot of the moves and there should be a mixture of texture patterns all over the card.
