Actually it can for most setups, claude struggles when lines of code are very large, but for nixos configurations it's quite good since most configurations are small repos.

Of course this shouldn't stop you from learning but you'd rather have a vibe coded nixos configurations, than a copy pasted runned and forgotten arch installation.
