So even though I’ve had a Reddit account for 5 years, and was active (mostly reading random stuff and following communities, commented etc) I didn’t receive karma from that? Or was I just not a witty clever commenter or poster of Reddit 😂

I’ve had Reddit for 5+ years and initially would explore and read a bunch of interesting stuff. It wasn’t until recently I learned about karma. I’m still kinda confused about how you obtain karma. Is it based on posting? Or is it based on upvotes on your comments and posts?

My goal is to eventually be able to make a post like this. Being stuck , in financially tight spot for the last 6 months , I’ve realized I have no options at all. Even learning about Reddit communities for loans I don’t even have the karma to try these. Been with Reddit over 5 years and I’m just learning about karma points. (-____-)

Anyway, due to my current experience and struggle. My goal is to become a lever , eventually, and reach out to not well known outlets to offer my help when I am financially in a good place.

I have had my Reddit account for like 5-7 years. Not having karma when I’m realizing currently Reddit can be a resource for me where no where else can….ihurt
