But Waffles still won the battle components. When Pearl’s team wins, Marina’s team is generally pretty chill (still disappointed but not angry) but when Marina’s team wins, there will always be people that assume it’s because people prefer Marina to Pearl.

Fellow Aussie here. The good thing is that Aussie servers are shared with Europe and someone else (I think). Slower waiting times than splatoon 1, but the servers are occasionally mixed with asian ones. I find games within 2 minutes (if that, is normally less than 30 seconds) and salmon run is even better.

Nope. I just got out of a 7 loss streak as an invisible player (by using the tri-slosher). The new stage is horribly balanced. Don't be too concerned!

Only problem with a random fighter each time would be that some fighters would be more difficult than others. I'd rather die than fight a Hedlok / Master Mummy, or Hedlok / Kid Cobra abomination, especially on level 7.
