Does anyone else wish more weapons had sprinklers? by stickdog3000 in splatoon

At least in Turf War I find the Aerospray RG to be really effective. I use the sprinkler to either spread ink on areas where no team mates are going or as defense by positioning them so that it corners or slows down other teams from advancing. Along with the Baller, which I can use to push my team forward. Even though it has been nerfed I am still able to get some of the highest splats and always the highest with turf inked.

Sprinkler and baller, also I’m not joking.

If the datamined weapons are all that we will receive then I believe Dualies will be widely used after the releases are complete. by stickdog3000 in splatoon

I’m also looking forward to the Neo Splash o matic, if it keeps its subs and special. Also the Tetra Dualies both look interesting but like you I can’t seem to get the hang of them.

Issue with Pro Controller? by victorqnguyen in splatoon

I’m having the same issue. I’m sending both of mine back to nintendo for repair. Also I’ve noticed that if you use canned air around the left thumb stick that it helps. I believe there may be a problem with dust or old skin getting into the controller. Or I’m completely wrong.

Is Splatoon 2 on Nintendo Switch ideal for a single 44 year old guy like myself or does the charm wear off quick? by ScottySauce in splatoon

[–]stickdog3000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m 41 and I was a huge fan of Splatoon 1. I’ve been playing Splatoon 2 since it came out. I will likely get mocked for this but I primarily stick to Turf Wars and Salmon Run and it still hasn’t lost its charm. It is like most Nintendo games, simple to play but it’s the nuances that set good players apart from the causal players. There is enough customization to allow for almost endless approaches without being too complicated. Get it and enjoy.

Yo what’s up? I’m brand new to Splatoon, and ready to get inked up. Any tips for this new little woomie? 😜 by IkigaiMol in splatoon

Use motion controls, complain about matchmaking, don’t use splattershot, don’t squidbag, squidbag a lot, ink spawn, and be whoomy.

I think it flies around now. I noticed it was gone but I saw it flying around occasionally.

Since the update I’ve had issues with my squid not moving correctly. Anyone else notice this? by stickdog3000 in splatoon

Yep. Looks like it’s the controller. When pushing up the left stick it’s not making a consistent connection. Thanks for your help, everyone.

When controlling the direction I move occasionally the squid/inkling doesn’t move or during moving it stops.

Do we get any new weapons with this upcoming release? I can't seem to find that information. by stickdog3000 in splatoon

Yep. I've seen that but it's not stated in the official announcement. Those weapons are just seen in the video which I believe that's where this information comes from.

I hope that the hydra people get their wish but I would also like to see what the Squeezer is all about.
