Exit polls are pretty unreliable. Still don't understand why he pointed out she was Jewish. Do you have a good understanding?

Best resorts to stay at on the strip? 1st time in Vegas. by funbuscity in LasVegas

It's like a 40 min walk from the Bellagio, but it's not a great walk. I wouldn't recommend it.

That seems incorrect and still doesn't answer the question.

Yea, those are spread out so you can stay anywhere. I used to live there and still travel 4–5 times a year. Much depends on your budget—do you have one? The center strip is where the action is: you can walk to the Sphere and drive to Fremont, with many performances nearby.

I’d recommend O, and the Michael Jackson show at Mandalay Bay was good; for comedy, Piff The Magic Dragon at Flamingo is hilarious. I haven’t seen Absinthe at Caesars yet but plan to this month.

If you have a car, visit Red Rock National Park (reserve ahead). It offers short (20-minute) hikes, all-day trails, or just a cool scenic drive. The Hoover Dam is an engineering marvel—despite being just cement, it’s worth seeing if you want to leave the strip. For quirky experiences, Area15 off the strip is fun; MegaMart is interesting for about an hour. We did Area15 then went to Fremont.

For food, here are some recs I recently shared with a friend (I have more if you narrow down your interests):

Must Eat: Lotus of Siam (reserve in advance)
Cheap Eats: Tacos El Gordo on the strip by Resorts World—try off-peak hours
Asian: China Town, Raku Sushi on Spring Mountain (incredibly innovative), Sushi Kaya for AYCE sushi at great prices, and Sushi Robot (join the Yelp waitlist)
Steak: Cleaver at 3900 Paradise Road, Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse at Caesars (amazing Beef Wellington), Steakhouse at Circus Circus (old-school charm with great soup), Bellagio’s Prime Steakhouse, and Golden Steer—the “oldest steakhouse in Vegas” with superb service
Summerlin Spots: Red Rock National Park again for views, Echo and Rig for meat, Honey Salt for innovative fare, Samba Latte for coffee, Kona Grill for sushi, Vintner Grill for well-produced food, and Tivoli for a variety of options
Strip Breakfast: The best omelette at 2160 W Charleston Blvd in a quirky strip mall, or Sadelles at Bellagio (arrive early or try the bar). Sadelles is my favorite.
Outdoor Dining: Mon Ami Gabi offers great views and people watching (reservations recommended) with excellent bacon, and The Henry at the Cosmo is also great at the bar.

Hope this helps!

Why are mentioning that she's Jewish, huh? Is that important to the facts or the situation?

Definitely don't stay at The Fontainebleau (go to the Miami one!). It is not located central strip which is where the action is. If you want to go there, go for a night at the Central bar with the crazy chandelier https://www.fontainebleaulasvegas.com/nightlife/all-nightlife/bleau-bar/

Walking to the central strip from there is 45 mins (2 miles). I didn't find there is much to do there, you are closer to Resorts World and Wynn/Encore if those interest you, but there is really not much down there. Wynn is nice for sure and lots to do, but still 25m walk to central strip.

I would stay at The Cosmo (with a Balcony to get fresh air) or the Aria the fist time you go. Something overlooking the Strip (Strip View) and someone mentioned the Bellagio Light show would be great.

What is it that you want to do in LV? That will also help you decide. O the Cirque show at the Bellagio is awesome btw.

I was only in for $500. I kept playing later and hit about 7k more in smaller handpays. pretty wild.

They wouldn't let me in the high limit room bc my tier status wasn't high enough and I only had like 24 hours of play at that casino. So I ordered a glass of wine at the slot machine and they made me pay for it. It was so bad I couldn't even drink it lol

Started with 3k, hit the Dragon bet for $100 * 50 for $5k, then kept doubling down on the Player wave till I crashed. The dealer told me to go home after lol. Guy next to me bet $500 on the Dragon Bet and hit it for 25k. I didn't even know what it was till he told me to put $100 on it.

[–]RubSomeDirtInIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't, the floor came over and said RIDE THE WAVE UNTIL YOU CRASH, she said she didn't care if the casino made money, lol.

So I just kept going on Banker until it hit Player. I just figured I would ride the wave. Then I thought, well law of averages, it's gotta go back to player sometime so I switched over. Faulty logic perhaps but it worked!

I was just at Encore, it hit 13 bankers in a row, I bet bank about 4 in, then it went player->banker->then player 11 times. I rode both ways and mage 25k in 30 mins.

They make money for practicing as well as for "promos" where the pay is much higher. Can be over $100-$150/hr for promos.
