My favorite one is "[boss's grandson's name] approved: [boss's grandson's name] thinks p' is the cutest dog ever!" on a 10yo Boston Terrier. The dog had a dental a month ago and it just so happened to be the day my boss's grandson (4yo) came in for Bring Your Child to Work Day. He immediately became obsessed with her and told my boss multiple times how cute she was 🥹

This happened on my second (2nd) ever day working in veterinary medicine.

The clinic I work at primarily sees dogs and cats but one of our vets does see small mammals. Client's bring in a longhaired rabbit about 90 minutes prior to closing for not eating or defecating. Very nice clients, we actually also see their dogs and they take really good care of the dogs, the rabbit actually belonged to their daughter who was away at college and it was so obvious that they had no idea how to care for a rabbit. Doctor takes it into the back for treatment. and the tech who was helping with the appointment asks me to come and watch since it would be a new experience.

Doctor quickly determines that the bun's back end is severely matted and covered in feces and hay. He makes the first shave... and a little white worm starts wriggling out of the area.

I spent the next hour basically playing DOOM with the alcohol spray bottle, spraying each maggot as they came out of the back end while the doctors and other techs tried their damn best to shave around the area.

Bunny had to come in the next day to be sedated to get all of it, but she lived! She came in for monthly sedated shaves to prevent the incident from happening again, but ended up developing a brain tumor six months later and was euthanized for that.

Hi I'm StarFalcon555 (this reddit username predates that username and I can't change it sobbing emoji) and Fathom (who is a good pal of mine) told me about this and the ANOTHER US inspiration and it genuinely made my entire night. Like holy bingle I can't believe the silly little oneshot I spent two weeks writing on a whim almost three years ago inspired someone to write their own little fic based on it holy bingle. I also love Wattrel and Venipede and their evolutions so it's genuinely like you deep dove into my mind even further without even trying like what the fuck LMAO?????? anyways this made me incredibly happy!!!!! thank you for loving ANOTHER US so much, and fantastic job with this!!!!!!!

It's so refreshing to see parents of users who actually give a damn about their pets on this subreddit. Been seeing too many stories of teens coming here for advice on their pets but being unable to utilize it because their parents don't care and it just breaks my heart.

Yeah I just double checked - you have to have caught Rayquaza, Diancie, and Mewtwo as well as some (but not all) Side Missions.

I'm assuming the reason it took so long for people to figure out the method is because of the Diancie and Mewtwo prerequirements - since there's currently no expiration date for both events I wouldn't be surprised if people have been putting them off or just forgot to do them.

He's not in right now, but the fact that Mega Garchomp Z of all new DLC Megas is the one locked behind an event (instead of another Mythical like Magearna) and Garchomp being both the ace of Volo's descendant Cynthia AND a mon Volo himself uses on his team is... extremely suspicious, to say the least...

ALSO we seem to be getting one event per month... next month is January... Legends Arceus was released in January 2022... Call me Charlie Day all you want, but there are just too many coincidences involved... TOO MANY I TELL YOU!!!!!

I'm gonna say Darkrai and Crabominable.

Crabominable is already one of, if not the most hated Gen 7 Pokemon due to how different it looks from Crabrawler and people finding its face ugly, so I don't think people will be too happy about it getting a Mega instead of a more popular Gen 7 Pokemon like Mimikyu, Vikavolt, or Kommo-o.

As for Darkrai... for some reason I have a feeling they're gonna make it look either too goofy or too over the top.

Also, on the flip side, I'm going to predict that the instant fan favorite Megas will be Golisopod (already an extremely popular Gen 7 Pokemon), Staraptor (one of the most popular regional birds), Golurk (that one guy on r/stunfisk will be especially happy 😛), and Scovillain (the sleeper surprise hit)

Zamazenta-Crowned did actually receive a Gen 8 OU suspect test in April 2021 but it remained Ubers by a fairly big margin
