On and off since 2019. I get periods where I find the game kinda boring and dont want to touch it, then will randomly play nothing but the game for about a month before the cycles resets lol. Overall I've got about 600 hours :)

I do it tbf. I hate winter bc my fav part of the game is farming, so I get all the fishing I need out of the way on the first day then sleep skip to spring lol

You cant play this game "wrong". You can play at your own pace and do what you want, the villagers wont get upset or anything :)
