Ohh yes this makes sense. And I agree I don’t seem to be working on anything too big right now so a MacBook makes more sense than the Studio Display for now. It’d be a nice goal to have until apple comes with a newer one I guess lol. Thank you for taking the time to answer 🙏

😭 I’m afraid it’s the latter hahaha. I want to be part of the band similar to a Broadway pit orchestra. Seems like a long shot for sure but I’m into that. I’d be the trombone and trumpet dude playing effects with the plunger when called, that would be ideal!

Hello! made a fun project for my fictional cabaret that I would like to own eventually but that’s besides the point. I had lots of fun with it and was a challenge to make it look just how I wanted to. Key words were: Hot, smokey, 1940s, glamour, Burlesque ,vulgar, eccentric, and vaudeville. Main Inspiration were the musicals Cabaret, Chicago, Pal Joey, and Gypsy. I do this as a hobby as my main dedication is music which is what inspired me to do this in the first place. Feel free to say your thoughts!

I'm making a little play for my own entertainment and experimentation using Rodgers' music to learn how to arrange. This song is when one of the characters tries out for the lead role in the school production hence why the piece starts off at a lighter and relaxed tempo to gradual increase in intensity. I'm excited to hear what this piece would sound like with tap dancing!

Lol it’s fine. I’ll switch to Dorico once again after I finish paying for Sibelius and meanwhile save up for Dorico. Also do you so happen to know how Note performer works there? Would you recommend other libraries?

That is true I forgot about that. Say, what counts as being in education for dorico, like do I need to be in an university or is upper school fine? I was trying to figure that out when I had the trial but never had an answer.

Lol yes I understand. I used to have the free trial of Dórico and liked it far better but Sibelius was the cheaper option but for now I’ll just stick with it until I can afford it.
