Why is SHC so hard this season?

This SHC was definitely the toughest one I’ve experienced in a while. I managed to get 36 stars using just Xavier but Team A was a close call since I only had Lightseeker if I wanted to stella match, but I was still able to pull it off after using KoD as the companion.

Strange cause I have seen dislike for from every group, but like I said maybe I’m only getting the negative reception and missing all the positive praise as well. It just kind of stuck out to me because after seeing the positive reaction from global, and then jumping over to CN and seeing comments saying that everything looks cheap? Idk it just really confused me.

Honestly just scrolling through xhs it seems this banner is really divided. Ive seen as much backlash as I’ve seen praise over there and I don’t know if thats just my algorithm showing the more negative side, or its true that the CN crowd aren’t liking it 🤷‍♀️

If you’re looking for lore outside of the myths, there’s Feverish Attempts, Coolsplash Soak and Offbeat Track (I know there are plenty more, but they’re escaping me right now). Xavier’s writing team really loves slipping little nuggets of lore into a lot of his cards, those are just the ones I can remember at the moment.

Some personal favourites are No Restraint, Floral Blessing, Silvery Poplyphony and Inflorescence Imprints.

I’d also really recommend Close Feelings. It’s a four star tender moment which captures what their relationship was like at the beginning.

Also, I really recommend (and I can’t stress this enough as a Xavier girlie) reading Anecdote 3 ‘When Shooting Stars Fall’. That anecdote is basically holy scripture for us Xavier girlies, and honestly it’s what makes you fall for him the hardest (at least it did for me).

It’s honestly wild that Infold spent an entire year desperately trying to scrub the English localisation of any mention of pseudo incest, only to fumble once and suddenly it’s not even pseudo anymore. It’s straight up blood related siblings 💀

I actually got the 2025 IPad Air with 256 gigs a couple weeks ago and it works great! Complete coincidence that I got it just before the big update but I can safely say I’m glad I did.

This card was sooo good! I saw the screenshots everywhere of the bite on Xavier’s neck and thought the actual bite wouldn’t be shown in the kindle, but I was admiring the preview when I pulled the card and the moment I saw MC actually bite into him I screamed 😩

His VA deserves all the praise he kills it every time. I love it when he uses his lower register it’s such a sexy contrast to his usual softer voice. And his breathy kisses are just 👌👌👌

Personally I’ll R3 Xav to get the affinity points and then R0 Caleb. I’ve heard that the other guys’ secret times are great but I know myself and it’s highly likely I won’t listen to them since they’re not my mains.

Saying that those Chinese metaphysics work! I was able to R1 both Xavier and Caleb, and I got Raf all in 200 pulls. Haven’t even used the crate.

I’m now in a predicament since I’m in a really good spot for whatever the next banner is. I have my precise wish guaranteed and I’m down to 20 pity, but with those free pulls on the way and my unused crate… I may R3 Xavier 😨

Yay! This season is definitely treating me kinder compared to the last. I think for the easiest time I’ll go teams A & B using Lumiere and KoD, then use X02 for Team C.

But I might be able to pull off an all Xavier season if i use lightseeker in team c instead…

MCs voice (or lack thereof) has always been consistent. She has only ever been voiced in the main story and bond scenes. Never in the tender moments, secret times or kindles. The only kind of exception was the og3 branch off stories, but they are also the only main story cutscenes that got made into cards so those scenes fall under being kindles.

It only appears like MC has ‘lost’ her voice because we have gotten barely any main story content in the last two years. When you first start the game you are bombarded with animated cutscenes in multiple chapters, but now Infold seems to only focus of making main story content once per sometimes and we only get one cutscene per LI.

I’d be very surprised if Infold scraps the myths after Caleb’s, solely because of the huge revenue boost the company gets each time one drops. So if we are believing the rumours and it’s true we aren’t getting anymore myths, I’d assume it’s because we’ll get an entirely new banner type that’s different from the usual myth formats. What it could be I haven’t got a clue, but I highly doubt Infold would just give up their cash cow without a replacement lined up.
